Since this site is closing...

What About JWD Has Been Special To You???
by minimus inwhen i was exiting, i would read this board and i learned a lot.
there were tons of people that were realizing the truth about the organization.
i had already read critical books about jws but this site was a daily, regular "spiritual feeding".

It has been a great place to meet new friends, joke around to what only a few of us can now laugh about. I have learned a lot of stuff that only proved to me how crazy the ORG really is, I feel more sympathy for those still in. Apostafests were great, meeting people in person putting a face and smile to all the words. Probably most important finding out there are a lot of people just like me.

Elders come to see me...
by NanaR ini am now roman catholic :-).
the easter vigil mass (at which i was baptized) was 8 p.m. yesterday, and we had a meeting at the church yesterday morning.
so i went home for the afternoon to get ready for the evening.. so who else would show up at our door (during the three hours or so i was home all day) but two jw elders.

I know that a lot of people here will not agree but........

i think it would be funny to protest at the assembly, with a bunch of people wearing funny halloween costumes of all sorts.
i know that a lot of people here are against that sort of thing, but i want to do it just because it will funny.

If I can get 20 people or more Yes we will video it and take pictures, however some people said they would do it but wouldn't hold signs, so you know how they have JW bothers line up to shield members against the apostates, we will make a line of Smurfs.
